Whether you’re a parent, future parent, friend, family member or part of a community, this will possibly be the meeting you most need to attend, but probably won’t want to. WHY?
It’s about the “S” word, as in “suicide”, and if you haven’t read the news, it’s becoming an epidemic.

In March 2018, serial entrepreneur and 15+ year YPO member, Jason Reid, had to confront the worst nightmare a parent can experience. Jason’s 14-year old son Ryan took his life while Jason and his wife were celebrating her birthday in Mexico.
Jason’s most recent TEDx talk goes through some of his learnings from that tragic event. Click HERE to watch.
After the death of his son, Jason found a note in Ryan’s room that simply said “tell my story“. Jason took that note literally and made a documentary called Tell My Story, which had it’s global premier at the Santa Barbara Film Festival.
What Jay will share with us is something we all need to hear.
Complimenting Jay is Dr. Mark Goulston, a world-renowned psychiatrist, best-selling author and host of the critically acclaimed podcast My Wakeup Call. Dr. Mark was a “boots on the ground” psychiatrist for 25 years, specializing in suicide prevention, with none of his patients committing suicide.
He is the Co-Creator and Moderator of the multi-honored documentary Stay Alive: An Intimate Conversation About Suicide Prevention, in which he spoke with Kevin Hines who survived jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge. He also created the programming for Design Thinking Suicide Prevention, a novel approach to de-stigmatizing mental illness.
Join us to learn the warning signs a teen or young adult might be showing around depression, anxiety and possible suicidal thoughts, and how to use practical and tactical tools for breaking through to that important person in your world.
This presentation will move, educate, inform, and possibly even save a life.
Please send your RSVP to Melissa.Groen@ArizonaEO.com by February 14.
