SimonCRE Purchases Old Town Scottsdale Building as New Headquarters to Accomodate 2015 Growth

Headquarters RenderingJoshua Simon’s company, SimonCRE, purchased an existing +/-7,756 SF, two-story plus basement office building located at 6900 East 2nd Street in Scottsdale, Arizona, that will become the new SimonCRE headquarters. SimonCRE has grown from 3 employees to 16 in just over a year.

SimonCRE will be renovating the exterior facade, updating the landscaping, and completing an interior renovation that will likely put the new headquarters in the running to be considered a 2016 best offices to work in Arizona contender. Plans include adding a gym and shower, interior brick walls for an open work space and many other great incentives to retain and recruit first class team members.

“We are spending over $500,000 on the exterior renovation alone as to give the new building a New York City loft feel,” said Josh Simon, President of SimonCRE. “We are really excited to redevelop our own space and put our own touches to please and fit our growing team of professionals.”

The building, which includes a full basement, will be fully occupied by SimonCRE and was purchased for $1,480,000. The seller, Redline Realty, LLC, was represented by Patrick Luther of Faris Lee Investments.

Renovations are underway and plans to move the team into the new space is scheduled for the second quarter of 2016.

SimonCRE plans to develop over $140 million in retail projects across 10 states in 2016.
